Uiiii, I am sooo sorry it’s been so long since my last Update!!
I guess I have been a bit busy
My Trip around Germany was great – I met lots of friends I had not seen in a long time and also got to talk to plenty of people about my little “New Zealand for Germans” website adventure!
Back in Canada I was busy following up lots of requests and enjoying the last few weeks there!
I was getting excited abuot going home though!.
I stopped in LA on the way – was walking around in shorts – that’s on the 7th of December! Oh, I do like LA!!!
But I am soooo excited to be back in NZ now! It is nice and warm and it’s great to see everyone here again! I am currently relocating a camper from Christchurch to Auckland – yeah! I stayed close to Akaroa on a farm for a week – man, it is sooo nice there. It’s so chilled, so pretty and the fresh seafood is AMAZING!
On my way to Picton I stopped north of Kaikoura – getting up in the morning, making a fresh cup of tea and watching seals play in the water is something else!!
I’m on the Ferry now – yeah, about to go see Chris before he heads to Germany for a few months.
I’ll be back in Auckland on the 21st – not sure yet if I’ll be back in the office from the 22nd on already – either way – there is no doubt that I’ll be busy again!!!

20. September 2010
…another coupple of amazing days!!
Saturday started out early again - we went do see the movie JUCY at the Toronto international Film Festival - I got the tickets given from my boss in New Zealand (yes, the CEO of JUCY rentals…) - he did not even know that it is my B’day
It was a great funny movie!! On the way back home we ended up stuck on the Streetcart (because it got hit by a cement truck) and then in traffic - meaning it took us almost 3 hours to get home… we did finally make it though, hopped into the rental car and drove up to Arnprior… we got here late but well!
The B&B we are staying at is amazing! The room is the same size as our whole appartement in Toronto! It feels like a mix of an old castle and a museum! It’s 2 minutes to the big Ottawa river and the weather could not be any more perfect!
…heading out for a movie and nice dinner now…
Thank you all for your best wishes!
18. September 2010
Well, it was an early start - but our daytrip to Stratford was well worth it! A nice drive, a quiet walk through the beautiful little town of Stratford, a good cup of coffee, a great salad for lunch, an amazing dinner (!!), and a Shakespeare Play… it could have not been any more perfect! Off to see a movie at the Toronto international Film Festival tomorrow and then heading north to continue a weekend away from the computer!!
Yeah!!
29. August 2010
So it’s definate: I am heading back to Europe for a little visit this year! I’ll be arriving in Frankfurt on October 7th and will be heading back to Toronto from London on October 29th. I between I’ll be visiting Cologne, Dresden and Berlin - if I can somehow figure out how, I might also include Munich
I hope to get to see mnay “old” friends along the way!!!

11. Juli 2010
So yesterday was the day I got to spend on an airplane again - yeah! These 5-6 hour flights are actually pleasant!
I said my good byes in Santa Monica, had mexican food last time and took a glimpse of the Santa Monica pier. I really like Santa Monica!
Now I am backin sunny Toronto! It is soooo beautiful here - much warmer and more sun then in California! We live at the cutest little place in Roncesvalles - top floor of a 3-storybuilding - big windows, big trees outside - it is so nice.
Going out for a picnick in High Park soon
1. Juli 2010
So I have 9 days left in Santa Monice before heading back to Toronto! The last few days have been pretty exciting - so much is happening and things are coming together just fine.
My LA projects are looking good! Nothing is completed yet but I am in the phase of adding finishing touches here and there and am so far pretty happy with the outcome.
In reagrds to the Neuseeland fuer Deutsche website: some major things just happend there. I added some awesome pages like a list of German speaking B&B hosts, tips around buying a car, information on Work&Holiday Visa and the parts about AuPair in NZ and language schools are in the works. There are also heaps of new pictures throughout - mailnly on the “Karte” (map) pages.
Great ews for NZfG: As of yesterday I can now sell travel insurance! That is extremely exciting (at least for me) check out the link: http://neuseelandfuerdeutsche.com/versicherung
This is the travel insurance company that is recommended by Lonely Planet - and now also by New Zealand for Germans
There are different plans and your destination does not need to be New Zealand - they cover you for all over the world. It’s easy to book on my website direct through them! Yes, you might get it - I am excited about this!
Mike signed the lease for a super cute sounding apartement in Roncesvalles (Toronto) a coupple of days ago - that is also pretty cool!
The cherry on top of it all those amazing things that are happening: I just got a check in the mail for a tax refund from the government of Ontario for last year! Wohoooo!!!
…so that’s the latest from over here
